Advanced Looper

Post by GR Baumann »

Just saw a video on Loopy Pro for IOS that has a ton of amazing features leaving loop stations like the RC 505 MKII far behind. It has a learning curve but rewards with enormous flexibility. Probably will spend some time with it during the end of year break. The video is 2 years old, hence there may be more even functionality in there today.

Ableton Push 3 and Loopy Pro works via Ableton Link.

Very very quiet here these days on TSB. Well, those who may be interested in busking with such a brillant looper, here is a run down by the dutch blues man.

I've always admired folks that can work with loopers, and I've always admired folks that can play out as a one man band, and these days it seems the two go hand in hand.

I have a Pigtronix looper pedal, and it is fun to play with, but I lack the focus or patience or something to really make much use of it.

Still I wonder...

Thanks for sharing that!!

It was Larry who triggered that thought in me. Wouldn't it be fun in the summer season to set something up? Very much so.

Then again, a large enough Camping-Van is very expensive, so that is out of question for me, which kills already 50% of the fun, traveling places, month after month, after month.

Dream on:
Camping Van, two Dogs, portable Bose line array, two keyboards, Push 3, and one of those ( Can't remember the name, something with "J", Guy has one of them) Guitars that can emulate a variety of guitars, and then....all continents. :D

...wakes up. Shit. :D

I think they are James "Tyler", at least that's who made them. They were fine instruments, just not my cup of tea.
