Spectrasonics Flow Capture for standalone instruments
Very nice. First I thought it would be better if it was default buffering all the time, but that might get unwieldy. If you hit a happy accident, you just have to press the red button and do it again.

Nice, but he says that you don’t have to deal with audio interfaces. So hat is he listening through, computer speakers?
I own Omnisphere, Trillian, and Stylus RMX. I don’t own Keyscape. I know it’s good because Steve Porcaro uses it and waked me through it. But I already hav great pianos, Rhodes, Wurlitzers,, B3s, etc. so I can’t justify a $399 purchase.
I wish I could because I Ike Eric personally so much and like the way Spectrasonics does business.

I may be misunderstanding, but I think not dealing with audio interfaces refers to not having to record through some sort of loopback (which I do routinely through RME TotalMix). Flow Capture is just a simple no-fuss record button within the standalone plugin itself, with the little bonus of also exporting midi and patch info. It doesn’t need any other jiggery-pokery or fancy soundcards.Ashermusic wrote: ↑Sep 21, 2022 3:12 pm Nice, but he says that you don’t have to deal with audio interfaces. Ah, that makes sense Guy. I never use software instruments as standalones.Guy Rowland wrote: ↑Sep 21, 2022 5:44 pmI may be misunderstanding, but I think not dealing with audio interfaces refers to not having to record through some sort of loopback (which I do routinely through RME TotalMix).
