I'll confess my interest in sampled soft synths has waned considerably.  Emulations are so good, infinitely more flexible and as a bonus consume about 10,000th of the drive space (though usually more CPU, admittedly).

I prefer emulations, but some of the patches in the overview video are really remarkable!
