bx_rockrack v3

Post by Thomas Mavian »

Glad I jumped on the $29 promo for bx_rockrack PRO last month, it has had an update!

https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/prod ... ck_v3.html

Sounds real good!

"Most amp sims out there attempt to simulate 112 amps and 256 microphones, but the tone of the originals just can’t be found in any of those models, even after hours of frustrating knob tweaking. Much of the time their distortion sounds brittle and not organic. Digital at its worst…"

This sums up the best of rockrack, the simplicity of getting a (really) good tone, fast.

I received that email this morning... I also have V2, and will probably upgrade. However, since getting the UAD Fender and Marshall amps I really haven't use BX_RockRack much. Some of that is probably the "new" factor, but dang these UA amp sims sound great and respond well.

What the heck, I need to find out what the upgrade price is...

Upgrade is $29. I have been using the UAD Marshall Jubilee and like it a lot but this has more colors. The new clean channels are great.
