As far as I always understood it, there's no sonic differences just less sonic possibilities (if that makes sense).

I've never seen a deal that's tempted me to go beyond the basic version (which is great), you only get a 5% discount. I'm a simple soul.

They're both great sounding reverbs. The difference is mostly one of breadth and variety.
