A tribute to the 100th anniversary of synth pioneer Alan R. Pearlman’s birth, Cherry Audio has launched the ODC 2800 Synthesizer, which draws inspiration from ARP’s Odyssey synth.
ODC 2800 is a reproduction of the sound and appearance of all three versions of the original hardware. It also adds expanded polyphony, an additional oscillator and LFO, extensive modulation options, and support for both velocity and polyphonic aftertouch.
ODC 2800 also features an effects suite for additional sound design and usability.
The demo below is given by Mike Martin, who participates in The Keyboard Corner forum that I visit regularly. Mike also codeveloped Cherry Audio's Wurlybird 140B Electric Piano.
Best,
Geoff
