Arturia Augemented Yangtze

Post by Guy Rowland »

This Augmented Series looks to be getting a little more interesting. This features samples from 6 Chinese instruments - Bass Dizi & Xiao, Pipa, Guqin, Yangqin and Erhu. Like the rest in the series, the idea isn't to be the last word in playable realism, but to combine with synthesis for new sounds and textures.

€99, but you may get various offers depending on what you own. I had an offer of €99 for this and the other five Augmented plugins.

Was it Arturia who release that free Yanquin for Kontakt recently? I think I have Laura to thank for that one and I think it sounds lovely.

If it's the same one as mine that was Native Instruments, a holiday gift and yes, lovely.

Yep, it was NI.

I find the tone a bit gentler than the Arturia walkthrough.
