Ah, another whole new range I see.

I'm actually not using the Spitifre site at present as it doesn't seem to conform to GDPR. There's only an option to accept cookies or go to a complex web page which tells you to muck around with your browser setttings. Not good enough - I've emailed them once already about this, just done it again and nothing will be done. One of the Brexit benefits I guess.

I hope they can improve their Spitfire Player soon, It's super heavy on CPU when enabling multiple mic options, This is a problem, giving us all these mic options, yet using a Player can't deal with it.

Add to that they now plan to release a whole new orch, library using their player, which will surely not be able to deliver any decent performance, unless it get a major boost in efficiency, better coding. or maybe get a new team to make your foundation software.

Hi,

Lowering the Max Voices in the settings of the Spitfire Audio Player to 45, or 64 fixed the CPU overload issues when using more than one mic.

If you are experiencing heavy CPU usage, or spikes, lower your Max Voices setting to 64. and test to see if that fixed the issue.

I'm also getting better performance now when using the AR-2 Strings, which sound awesome ! I think it should improve any of their libraries work better.

Good tip, Sculp, thanks!
And ... maybe too soon to ask, but are happy with the ARO Low Percussion?
