I recently discovered a great little app for Macs that is called PlugInfo. Basically, what it does is indicate whether each and every audio plugin on your computer (including AU, VST, VST 3, AAX etc.) is actually “M1 Native” or still “Intel”. Some developers continue to describe their plugins as M1 compatible, which can be confusing. The app is available in the Apple store for only $3-4. The app developer is a respected member of a forum I've been frequenting since 2001: The Keyboard Corner. She goes by Lady Gaia there.
