Thanks for the hint, Guy! I instantly purchased this library, the I saw your post. I cannot tell you how it is, obviously, but I still have some thoughts about it. This will probably live for several years barely used on my hard drive. But the moment I will get another scoring job regarding horror, extreme action cues or anything like that, it will be gold on creating a great mock up or selling ideas for real recordings with musicians. I might just use 3 out of 100 patches for that job, but I know, these will increase my mockup drastically. Why do I know this? Because I have bought Cage and recently used it on some Horror cues (see my thread in "Members Projects").
So, what I can tell you ... I hate being stuck with the content available, but there is no other way to create these kinds of sounds other than with libraries like those. So, it is good to have as many libraries as possible of that kind. Working with Cage some months ago, I thought it would be great to have smaller and drier versions of these kinds of sounds. But I didn't want to spend that kind of money, just to find out ... now, for $78 this is an instant buy for me!
All I can tell you about the content that you can't see in the walkthroughs for yourself is that I really like Cage. It has some very useful patches for action writing, stuff I usually combine with other (conventional) string samples.

Thanks you two - just a few hours to go and I’m minded to let it go. I can think of so few - maybe no - circumstances I’d use specifically solo instruments for this rather than ensembles, but it’s true I could be lacking imagination here.

Me, I won't be using Case for horror cues, but I see tremendous possibilities for these libraries in those electro-acoustic experimental pieces which I like to make.
I've meanwhile downloaded the bundle. Big difference in size between the three libs: the strings are 23 gig, the brass is only 5 gig and the woodwinds are 11,5 gig. Haven't opened any of them yet — my DAW is currently occupied with a large something that I don't wanna close before it's finished — but I'm looking forward to it.
