"Fingerpick can be played in the normal way by playing the "blue keys," but what makes Fingerpick special is that you can trigger the Pattern Player (now 60 styles to choose from) by playing chords in the "green keys." 14 different chord types, in any key. The pattern player will follow the progression you play. With the yellow keys (keyswitches), you can switch pattern styles in the middle of the pattern or even in the middle of the bar.

So what's new in version 2.0? We doubled the number of patterns to 60, and now include 3/4 and 6/8 patterns. We added a Latch mode, so you don't have to keep holding the chords. We added knock and squeak samples, and even added a versatile Auto-Squeak mode.

And then we recorded a nylon string guitar to go with it. (For $40 more. Choose "Bundle" in the drop down purchase menu.) We also added a mixer page so you can adjust volume and EQ for each string, as well as pan, for a stereo spread. And ... you can select steel or nylon for each string to create hybrid guitars, which is surprisingly useful. I use a combination of steel for the lower strings and nylon for the upper strings a lot here."

Until the end of the Holiday Season, Fingerpick 2.0 is just $89, the bundle is $129.

Interestingly enough, there seems to be no crossgrade at all for existing users.
That's totally fine for me (I haven't bought Fingerpick anyway), but it is weird that there is an upgrade path to V2 listed, just at the same price as for new users.
This is a stellar library, the patterns are a godsend for the 2 musicians in the world who are just too stupid to learn to play real Guitar. I definitely belong in that bunch. Keys work fine, but I'm useless with Guitars.

Actually there is an upgrade, and you should have received an email to that effect. We all know about spam traps!

Now that I think about it, I guess that does look pretty weird! I can see how that would be confusing if you didn't get the email with the explanation and coupon code.

We had to set the cart up this way because the upgrade versions are actually different than the "newbie" version, since old-timers can re-use the serial number, plus the installation instructions are different. (Having two Fingerpick folders confuses Native Access, so we have to explain what to do ... which is basically to just delete the old folder.)

Unfortunately, the upgrade price shows the same as the regular people price. It would be better if we could show the upgrade price as what the actual upgrade price is (without using coupon codes), but we can't do that right now, because we don't have a way to prevent everybody from then just clicking the upgrade button. Hopefully there's a way, but this is a new web host and shopping cart system we're using (as of three weeks ago), so we're still figuring things out.

Wow, that library is AWESOME!
I have a large number of acoustic guitar libraries, but to be honest Fingerpick is the first one that really clicks with me. Maybe just because the "normal" notes react very keyboard-like and I can play whatever I want without only every fifth note sounding because of string changes or so... as a keyboard player it can be quite hard to know how other instruments work exactly, especially guitars.
Or maybe I like it so much because of the patterns that are just ...usable... in the best sense of the word. Those are exactly what I need when I need to use a guitar library.
The addition of the nylon strings really makes the thing infinitely more versatile, especially when combining steel and nylon strings.

I made Fingerpick the subject of a short(-ish) video, also showing all the patterns because on pattern-based libraries I constantly get asked for full rundowns when talking to people.
