AudioEase 'Indoor' / Acoustics for Post

Post by Piet De Ridder »

"Indoor is AudioEase's flagship convolution reverb for Audio Post. Indoor features unprecedented sound quality, flexibility and ease of operation, AAX DSP support, click-free automation, zipper-free motion and up to nine channels of reverb, in a single resizable window without tabs. Indoor can take your studio recordings from understated to overdone, always remaining stunningly real. So that hearing is believing."

Very clever, especially the stuff at the end with multiple sources in different rooms. I guess in practice that would only be as useful in post as far as your real location vaguely matches one of theirs (wonder if you can import your own IRs recorded on set? Probably not), and then the icing on the cake would be to have the microphone automatable and freely moveable. But hey, still good, still clever.

Seems to overlap quite a lot with Altiverb?

No more so than Speakerphone (less actually, I think). They're rather good at specialising products for particular tasks.
