Re: Output: Movement rhythmic fx engine
Love their sample libraries, but very bad move not to have a demo in this day and age.
Thanks, Denis

Well. I guess those of us who have been sticking with a nice, stable Win7 setup are out of luck.

Re: Output: Movement rhythmic fx engine
Anyone tried this? Sorta interesting, but is it really just a fancy Trance Gate?
Re: Output: Movement rhythmic fx engine
There is a thread on VI about it - one member installed it on Win7 with success (after a couple of minor glitches). It doesn't hold a lot of interest for me.

Yeaaaah... had a look at another video and really it is just a trance gate isn't it? There seemed a potential to offer more. It would be fascinating to have a plug in that buffer sampled, then could take transients and peaks, repeating them at tempo-synced intervals and delays, maybe analysing a melodic scale too. Could be hours of fun. Don't think that is this though, is it?
Speaking of trance gates, any simple to use low-CPU recommendations out there?

Interesting product, especially for fun/creative glitchy sound design applications, but I don't see myself using this type of tool, except in very rare occasions.
Maybe good for Dance/Electro musicians.

does all the gating plus all those sidechainng fx without having to actually side chain
CableGuys volume shaper is another take on it .http://www.cableguys.com/volume-shaper.html
Movement is very cool, the 4 engines make a difference, OTT if you just want a trance gate but if you need to modulate anything with a Step seq, LFO or indeed side chain input this is it.
Thanks, Denis

Thanks Denis - those don't quite look like what i'm after. I need a little step sequencer in there - wonder if anyone has tried this? http://www.alexhilton.net/A1AUDIO/index ... riggergate - hey, it's free and seems to be along the lines I'm thinking of. Will give it a go myself when there's a bit of downtime.

Re: Output: Movement rhythmic fx engine
Just spent a few minutes playing with it and i already love it. Played guitar with some distortion thru it and it was great. Hitting the harmonics can make a cool rhythmic loop that i'm sure i'll be able to find use for. Thanks for mentioning it.Guy Rowland wrote:Thanks Denis - those don't quite look like what i'm after.
