There's a new upright bass out and, based on the demos, it sounds like it's an excellent one: the Authentic Soundware Jazz Anthology Bass.

Sounds excellent, indeed.

I searched for a demo that had arco, didn’t find one. Arco would be nice to have.

Edit:found a few seconds in the technical walkthrough. Sounds fine but very limited. Ah well.
