"Some years have passed since we released Jazz Drums Brushes. Even back then, we knew that a drum kit properly played with sticks would be the natural next step in our journey. And here we are today — we’ve finally decided to sample our own jazz drums played with sticks. Thus we set out to capture the energy, subtlety, and phrasing of stick playing — the interplay between ride, snare, and toms, the pulse that breathes and drives the groove forward."
