Native Instruments Scene: Saffron - $25 "cinematic instrument"

Roll up roll up there's a new NI range in town. While the Play series is focused on contemporary music, The Scene series is different. "Designed with media composers in mind, the Scene series offers premium cinematic sounds in a simple and easy-to-use interface. Centered around an XY pad, each instrument comes loaded with carefully-designed presets and streamlined controls, enabling you to quickly blend, layer, and shape the perfect sound for on-screen moments.
Sounds right up Piet's street.
Saffron feels like a stripped-down Light series (which is now confusing as Light means Heavyweight).
At burger price, this will go down nicely enough I guess, but I can't help wishing that rather than breaking all this content into smaller and smaller parts NI would start to integrate their cinematic range into one bigger library. Ditto their drums.
