Textural Sample Libraries

Hi everyone,

We're Inletaudio and we make artist-driven sample libraries. We can hear you asking "what on Earth does that mean"... we make sample libraries that feature each musician we work with as much as we can, aiming to showcase their talents and character as a player.

We don't create libraries that re-create the musicians and their instruments digitally. We record the sounds musicians love to play but are rarely asked to perform, ask them to improvise textures, and collaborate with them to curate a collection focusing on timbre and performance.

"Does that mean you make one shot libraries?" The simple answer is no; no, we don't. The libraries we create allow you to blend multiple sound sources together and manipulate them individually and collectively to build a unique sound.

Here's a link to our latest library Shapeshift Violin Textures

We would really love to hear this community's thoughts on our approach to the libraries we make and on Shapeshift Violin Textures. If you have a moment, we would love to chat in the comments.

Hi everyone!
Quick question for you all:

What's the thing you look for most in a textural sample library?
Is it the quality of the sounds? The range of sounds? How much flexibility there is in terms of editing the sounds? Do you even want to edit the sounds?...We know what we would lean towards but we're curious what everyone else thinks!

Thank you for sharing!
