Downloads fine, but then I get an error message . First time I've ever seen this in NA. Will contact Project Sam.

EDIT: Definitely a glitch with NA today. I had successfully installed a Symphobia update earlier with no problems. I rebooted, logged in again, and then tried again and it worked, BUT it didn't install to the location I specified in my Preferences. So it was necessary to relocate the folder then Relocate in NA. NA has always been solid...until today. Yes, latest version, logged in correctly etc. Anyway, hope you have an easier install. 😀

I got the exact same 'Install failed' message earlier this week when installing the 300 Grand. (Never encountered it before either.) But as the library download consisted of an iso file, I simply proceeded with mounting the disk image and doing a manual install. After which it was 'fingers crossed' to see whether Native Access would recognize and accept that installation. Luckily, it did.

Thanks for sharing that info, Piet; good to know. I had tried double clicking on the iso file as well, but in this instance nothing seemed to happen. Maybe I should have tried right clicking and choosing Open File, but I didn’t. Guess I was too focused on trying to get NA to do the install. 😊

This has happened to me at least three or four times during the last several months. I’ve always used the same workaround (mounting the disk image and doing a manual install), and it’s worked every time.

Not an ideal situation, but at least the end result is fine.

Best,

Geoff
