Thought perhaps this deserved it's own thread. A Christmas freebie from OT - 25 euros to spend as you please (no minimum spend) only not on sale items.

One of the nice things about SINE is you can buy individual instruments. So if you want a taste of a full library, you can just get a single instrument from it fairly cheaply, and now with this gift even cheaper or sometimes free. In the end I went for a choir patch from Jeff Russo's Modus, and very nice it is too.
Also a heads up that OT have Majestic Horn available for 2 euros, either for SINE or Kontakt (full). It's a 10gb library, has 4 mic positions, sustains, dynamic sustains and legato patches. It's a really nice, plaintive but expressive solo horn (audio demos below)

The solo legato patch is best used on slower lines I found, and its limited in its range, at the softer end. But in that zone its lovely, a worthy competitor to the famous CineSamples original solo horn. The sustain patch, by contrast, gets VERY brassy at the FFF end of its travel.
I went for Kontakt, but you know I sorta wish I'd gone for SINE - love the option there of just downloading a single mic position. Still, I can crossgrade for, I think, 20p...
