I must be missing something - I don't understand the purpose of LiftFX, at least not in context with the rest of their tools.
What am I missing???

I bought it. It's quite similar to Air's The Riser, but a bit more slick.
It has a few nice features, such as reversing the fx and locking fx to a certain amount of bars etc.
If you're tired of these huge, over the top, ' Michael Bay' risers and downers that most libraries have, this is a nice change.
