Tomorrow, Friday 19th, Harmonic Subtones' long-awaited follow-up to the success that was (and is) their Emotional Cello, will be released: the Emotional Violin.
Here's a screenshot of the GUI. (Have a look at the wealth of articulations and ornamentations.)
More news, and maybe a few audio examples, in a few days.

Looks like they couldn't wait until tomorrow: it's out!
Product page with audio demos (a few of them very good, if you ask me).

Listening to the demos: sometimes it sounds utterly convincing, but those moments of "oh yeah it's a VI" are just a little bit more frequent than I'd like. (Especially The Fiddler - Traditional is just a continuous run of cringe for me.)
I think, though, if you wrote to the samples, this is one of the most agile and realistic violin VIs I've heard, giving even Embertone's Joshua Bell a run for its money, particularly in flexibility and performance range.

I have had the beta version for some weeks (should have written a demo, but couldn't make it ...). I think it is a great VI. As with every VI, it has its limits vs a real violin, of course! But you can come close to the real thing for a lot of musical settings. The Fiddle-Patch is just one little patch. Of course, you could make a whole library just for that sort of style. But it shows how versatile the library is IMO.

I was at AES today and stopped by the Best Service booth, played the Emotional Violin for about 15 minutes in headphones. Unfortunately, they’d had a very short keyboard so it was mostly a matter of clicking on an articulation and playing it rather than key switching, but I thought it sounded fantastic. I got through about 11 or 12 arts. Pretty sweet. There are a lot of momentary switches that I couldn’t try unfortunately.
Best Service guy thought there MIGHT be a Black Friday deal, think I might go for the Cello too. He also said they’re planning to upgrade the cello to some of the improvements in the Violin.
