Just found this new three part series on BBC Four & iplayer. I watched the first episode last night in the small hours. It was really good.

This looks like a slight renaming / rebranding of an earlier version of this - and yes (if so) it's excellent, really worth watching it through. Love the style of it and the way he plays some of the scores himself on the piano.

Yeah, I found out it is in fact a repeat - I think from 2013. But it's really good, and if you haven't seen it before its really worth watching. When the BBC decide to do good stuff, there is simply no-one better. I thought the guy presenting the series was great - obviously not a TV presenter type - but someone well versed in his subject.

Ah yes, saw it first time round - great stuff.
