Thanks Geoff. What's I guess different with this range is they're all (small) ensembles - almost everything I have is solo. Again though... tuning. It's I think a little less egregious than the brass I think (though the Uillean Pipes get pretty wild). Also the legato on the recorders in particular sounds really odd to me.

That, despite the "strange part”, was a very useful thread. Thanks for pointing it out to me, you know who you are.
