I don't know if this is a special Black Friday discount or if it has become a regular price. It's the full library, including the con sordino expansion. Lots of content at a very good price.
The price is even better if you already own some Audiobro products. I see it for just $100 after logging in. That’s only $1 more than the LASS 3 Lite asking price of $99.

Best,

Geoff

Amazing price. LASS is a classic, and it packs so much content.

I just never warmed to the sound of it compared to some others, but the legato is good and it certainly is versatile l

I find LASS excellent and easy enough to eq enough (and to use lowered expression) to take some of the edge off.

Meanwhile, my big Black Friday purchase is Joshua Bell violin ($119, 40% off), which is as good as many have said. I’m a little confused by the articulation choices the initial preset is making for me, but the tone and legato are the best I’ve used thus far. I guess I’ll need to RTFM. Darn!

Edit: and Embertone's Friedlander Violin. I love its roughness.

I like it too. Do you have the JB, Laura?

The Unfinished has 40% off - https://www.theunfinished.co.uk/

There are some really great soundsets there for Diva/ Zebra/Omnisphere and many more.

Sound Morph also has 60% off - https://www.soundmorph.com/

Great software and sound packs too! Time Flux still remains unmatched and unique.

I was going to add Tokyo Dawn Labs but it looks like their sale is over. Still worth looking into, especially for their Slick EQ GE, Molot GE and even the new special filters if you need specialist sound management. Excellent plugins.

Liquid Sonics have upto 70% off. https://www.liquidsonics.com

Remember, if you have purchased a reverb before, you can request for discount coupons that will be emailed instantly to you.

I just picked up Lustrous Plates for $41 because of previous available coupons. I now have 4 amazing reverbs from them (all pro versions) and they are totally worth it!

I don't. I really didn't need this as I have the free version, and all 3 Red Room Audio fiddles (and a human I hire sometimes), but I'm interested in the vibrato on this one.

The V-Horns saxes, brass and clarinets are calling me at a fairly anemic 30% off. Last day to decide.

I don't have the clarinets, but I love the saxes and brass.

If you buy three products you get another 10% off so that's 40%...two I think is 5% off.

Ah-ha! Sonuscore have the origins bundle vol 6-10 on sale for $24. I have 1-5 and it's really good - AFAIK this is the first time 6-10 has been at anything like this deep a discount. There's muted guitar, harmonics, tar, chonhuri, Fado guitar, cavaquinho, ronroco, bouzouki, cb panduri and tanbur.

A good find! Looks interesting….but for my clarity: they indicate that it is also playable as a ‘normal’ multi sampled instrument ( not the mad or arp thing) . Is that indeed the case?

Solo violins... short of learning to play myself, or having a human player do the work I have several libraries I turn to.

The Red Room fiddles are awesome, and maybe the easiest for me to play. I also have Cinesamples Taylor Davis, which fits really well into other projects.

I have both Embertone violin libraries - Joshua Bell is probably my favorite for "serious" music project, and he also sits well with entire Embertone quartet, or quintet if I add in the Friedlander, which is also great for more aggressive parts. If I had to choose between JB and Friedlander I'm not sure what I'd do. Fortunately I had the quartet before I picked up JB, which I bought largely on the basis of the rest of the quartet.

Once upon a time I depended on the Garritan Strad - I believe I had satisfactorily replaced it. Although it remains the only library I've used that is equally adept in both orchestral and bluegrass settings. But that might be a function of "it was all I had"?

Yes, as well as the clever stuff you have single instrument patches which are basic playable. Although it's single articulation they're good - plenty of character and a really good velocity range (which is also why the arps work so well).

Thanks for clarifying that! To me it wasn’t that clear on the website. Purchased it.

I think this one concludes my BF this year. For several years there wasn’t something that was attracted enough.
This year: OT Vasks strings, Arturia Collection X, GM Neo Soul Keys studio 2, Strezov’s contour Strings. Will be good for a while………… hmmmmm or still Nexus 5?………

I lied. I picked up Strezov's Jade Ethnic Orchestra, which I've wanted for a long time. I just do so many Asian-themed games. Looking forward to using it if it will ever finish downloading.

I don’t need it, but George rarely ever takes a swing at anything and misses. One of the best developers out there.

I suspect more of us will fall victim as the end of the sale season draws near. I picked up Modern Scoring Strings (passed on Duality) because I always wanted LASS, and MSS seems even better, at least in terms of the sound of the demos. I also picked up Atomic Big Band, I am still searching for that "perfect & complete" horn band sound.
