Matthias - of course, very much not taken that way here. Merely pointing out that its a non-trivial issue with the library as it stands.

Now I know they're re-configuring that side of it, my interest is far more piqued since I think it must been some quite significant changes will be coming to Play itself.

I’ve ignored the Play engine because of the issues I’ve heard with the Mac version being so inefficient. I understand they have corrected that some time ago, but the damage (Admittedly unfairly) was done in my mind.

Maybe it’s time to rethink that and give it another go, now that they are offering a deal on the subscription. Slight derail, is the Hollywood series good for the lighter side of the orchestra too, like Mancini and 60s Easy listening?

IMHO, Matthias, plus Kayle, very good for Mancini. I did a short excerpt from Mancini’s “Mr. Lucky” with HS Diamond that the VI Control folks all loved.

Not as good for pop though, like Bacharach stuff. For that, surprisingly, I find Kirk Hunter’s Virtuoso Ensembles best.
Charlie Clouser: " I have no interest in, and no need to create, "realistic orchestral mockups". That way lies madness."
