Definitely worth $19.99, Larry. I got the MixBox for free during last year's Black Friday sale of the IK Pianoverse bundle, and the Mixbox quickly proved itself to be by far the more useful (and much more often used) package of the purchase.

This is what I wrote last year, soon after having made the purchase:

(...) What has been a nice surprise however, is the included free MixBox. Never had much interest in the FX processing plugins from the likes of a.o. IK Multimedia and Arturia because I already have so many excellent tools from other companies, but I've got to say: what's included in MixBox is good stuff. Seriously good. And the mock-lunchbox-format is actually more convenient than I imagined it would be. MixBox is definitely a keeper. (...)

Hhmm, thanks for the heads-up. Never really "clicked" with my previous IK tryouts but Piet's words makes me curious. If I only find 1 or 2 keepers it would be worth it.

This isn't exactly an endorsement, but... I use IK's various compressors all the time and the only reason I don't use MixBox to do so is because I'm so used to the standalones. If I'd invested in MixBox first, I would use its form factor without hesitation. IK's Black 76 is my favorite on drums.

Like it. Worth the kind of strange installation process.

The dimension chorus and the 120 chorus amp is worth it alone. And there is reverbs...
