Toontrack / Big Stage EZX (for EZDrummer 3)
If you have EZDrummer 3 and you're sometimes in need of a good drum kit that works in an orchestral context or in any other situation that requires a big, open and somewhat distant (but still detailed) drum sound, the new EZX from Toontrack, called "Big Stage" might be exactly what you're looking for. Recorded in a large theatre — Story Teatern in Gothenburg —, the EZX includes four complete kits, also features a set of concert toms and everything was captured with various ambience microphones on top of the more traditional drum microphones.

Re: Toontrack / Big Stage EZX (for EZDrummer 3)
Just to highlight that this expansion also works in the latest version of Superior Drummer 3 (but not EZ Drummer 2).
I always reach for the CinePerc kit for drums on a scoring stage, but these kits sound really good. In general I often moan about too many mic positions, but in this case it's kinda the whole point, and there seems to be more ambience mics than on any other EZX I can think of, it's into SDX territory on that score. You have stage, audience, balcony, ceiling and royal box. (note - not all the mixer presets have all options available, but I presume you can roll your own).
It's 80 euros, which is the standard EZX price now. I've noticed Toontrack are getting longer and longer to get their products discounted - they happen eventually but it can be a very long wait.
Toontrack don't appear to have a normal walkthrough video, but this chap seems to have done a good job.
