Re: Eventide Black Hole Plugin $49 @ JRR
Harry Gregson Williams talks a little bit about using Blackhole for sound design and on piano in the video thats in the HGW studio tour thread. When it's regular price @$199 I would recommend Vahalla Shimmer for $50, but when there the same price I would go for the company that invented the ...

Tells me there hardware is not selling well. Although I would not mind there 88, I do not need it with a Vaxmidi kit coming and testing a Roli Rise 49 next week.

Re: Spitfire Audio Gifts
Jordan, yes, IMHO I don't think the upgraded Felt offers enough of a upgrade for the money. I always fall back to the old $3 Labs Felt. But I am using the Una Corda now for 90% of piano. Bill, I hear you on that. As Guy points out as well. With 30% off and the strong exchange these 199 gbp libraries ...

I have both, I would say the free version is fine for me. You might really like the new Olafur Arnalds Piano in his Composers Toolkit or the NI Una Corda.

Does anyone else here have it? Worth having? I use the labs version of it and quite like it.

I like and use eDNA. But they seem to stop developing it which is distressing (not to sound like Guy here
I use Cinematic strings of late for my sections, for the price now it's hard to beat.

I have and love J4, 1000M and PE3000. They capture the soul and vibe of the originals and I am no big fan of Kontakt synths.

Re: Spitfire Audio Gifts
With the current USD-GBP exchange this does make it a bit more worthwhile to us outside of GB currently. Most decent of them! And a terrific milestone for sure. I'm pretty sure at NAMM there was a 30% off sale wasn't there? Certainly not to be sniffed at, but not quite the pricing revolution they ...

Check you inboxes, if you have contributed to Spitfire Labs over the years there is a offer for a free Mini Labs Cimbalom & Harpsichord and a 30% voucher good until Feb 28th. I actually like the mini Labs library concept. A good way to demo some things. My voucher will be going to good use as well.

I took my godchildren to see Paul McCartney last year. That was there Xmas present for the next 5 years
But they loved it.
Petty has a long history of taking on the music industry, interesting he has not made this a issue.

Yes. The Axis is a API style EQ, very sweet (Think Electric Ladyland) without the honkiness of API. The Deflator is as close as you will come to a Distressor. Kaya is good at old tube darkness, and heavy bottom. There are demo's of all 3 available. http://www.slyfidigital.com/ Has anyone tried the ...

Looks like they pulled the old change the url trick. Go to Franks link or I corrected the one above. Cheers, Guy. Just FYI then....Actually there are at least three tips and tutorials on using this delay on the Izotope web site, and yes, I did play around with it quite a lot, with synths, drums and ...
