Yep, Ticketmaster was outted a bunch of years ago for owning sites like StubHub which are like ebay for show tickets. They were caught selling their own tickets there. Eventually everyone just stopped caring that they did it cause there was nothing they could do about it. Scalping their own tickets....

I see a subscription as nothing more than a gateway for my decision to purchase a product. I much prefer demos of course but many companies don't provide them or provide a crippled version of said product. At the very least, I can get a month or two in of using a full product and decide if I want to...

Their team have patched the major problem people were complaining about. I upgraded from Editor to Studio.

There seems to be a lot of complaints about the quality over on Gearslutz. :\
Makes me pause a bit at upgrading.

I'm hoping to see new smart midi controllers (hopefully from Novation) that take things a step further than Kontrol and Advance did.

Also looking forward to whatever Spectrasonics has up their sleeves.

Waiting to see what fun thing Embertone does this year as well. Last year it was wind instruments. Kinda hope that they drop something new this year.

Can vouch for JRRShop. They have some really great prices at times. Only complaint is that everything is manual there so it takes time to get emailed licenses. I'm sure they will automate it over time.
