The band decay editor is reminiscent of FabFilter Pro-R (which I have). I really, truly don't need another reverb, but the $79 intro price is attractive, and I've been really quite happy with UVI Relayer, and so my GAS is drawing me into temptation. I have to say, all the demos I listened to on KvR ...
These days I use Wavelab for nearly everything, I still fire up Samplewrench if I am fiddling with loop points, but if I spent a few minutes I"m sure Wavelab can do that too. Select zone Insert 'loop markers' Go to the 'Process' tab and use the 'loop tweaker' function https://preview.ibb.co/cPgwdp ...
I did earlier this afternoon (CC subscriber) but not for long. I just noodled with VSL's WW (the standard SE) and thought it sounded quite decent for no reverb tweaking at all. I doubt it's of much interest but if you're curious: https://app.box.com/s/k9xs814d3q30um2k3fxy7dus2tk9vpnp (just Leg EH ...
I had a bug with their player in Cubase 9.5 while trying the 'soft piano'.
(not a show-stopper - a notification window replicating ad-infinitum when closing the project)
Made a note to report it but hadn't had the time yet.
It is really preplexing, there's not one demo (not talking about the musical aspect here) that is completely convincing.
(I can't help thinking "this would sound better with another library")
The 'drag midi parts to sampler after auto-rendering' and 'direct offline processing' are nice.
(contrary to what I thought when C9 came out, I end up using the sampler track once in a while)
Doubling the insert slots should make many people on Steinberg's forum happy
Looks like there's a memory leak with the VST version of Elevate of about 6MB every time you hit play on the DAW transport. That's a pretty serious issue that's quite easy to test for, so that reflects rather poorly on their quality control. Well, if I'm not mistaken, it's a one-man operation. He ...
There's one in Spitfire's Albion too (in 1 &2 and maybe in the other libraries..?) I suppose it's more the length of the recorded interval that is effectively played (so not related to glissando). And in Loegria, even at the lowest (faster) setting, fast legato playing is not really a viable option ...
So after reading the many threads about it I finally bought the upgrade. Working good so far, I like the GUI changes (docked transport is fine since my taskbar is on the left). The only blacklisted plugin was Play5, that I re-activated with no ill effect (so far :-) ) Not sure about "the zone" yet ...

Anyone has them ? Is it worth it (layering it on top of other libraries for example) ?
(I have to admit the demos bits on the link are not too enticing to my ears but it could be a production issue)
I wonder how it is done, and if it is doable at all... that first Bach / Marcello demo sounds badly out of tune.
And as far as I know (I don't have either) the Art-Vista offerings sound very good on their own.
Maybe it can work in some context.
