Re: Aperture strings - news from Spitfire
Sable is great but it wasn’t going to be supported anymore (and the only way to get the new performance legato patch was to “upgrade”) so I hung my head and paid the fee. It's a sore point for me in a slightly different way. Eventually they relented (I think?) - it didn't cost me much to upgrade, ab ...

Re: Aperture strings - news from Spitfire
The people upset over this library over on the other forum make me chuckle. They’re 100% justified to be annoyed/angry or whatever, but those of us who went through the Sable to SCS debacle know it is completely within Spitfires lane to screw over loyal customers. After having to buy Ensembles in o ...

Re: Freebeeee! A warning for those sensitive souls out there. Spitfire content.
Is the library called “Original” and “Epic Strings?” It’s obviously just a way to get previous owners to start using their new sampler (even though the LABS is in their sampler, I don’t have any that aren’t Kontakt). So now there is Albion 1 legacy and Albion ONE legacy, which the latter already has ...

Re: 25% off any u-he product til end August
Diva definitely runs much better after the update a long while back to utilize more cores. Zebra is great but Dark Zebra is especially awesome, because I love being able to see how Hans and Howard created the sounds for Batman. They were my first synths of any kind so seeing how those sounds were ...

Re: UVI Darklight Iix 75% off
I have the Bitley Fairlight library (for Kontakt, not the much more substantial Reason version). Would this be a good addition to those sounds, or is there too much overlap?

Re: Spitfire Symphony Orchestra and Masse
.. but they have a percussion libary, don't they? At least I have one on my harddrive. ??? They obviously do, it's just not part of the package. One tends to think of a symphonic orchestra as including the percussion section. To me it's no different than leaving out woodwinds but including perc. I ...

Re: Spitfire Symphony Orchestra and Masse
I'm disappointed on the percussion front. I have an entire SF template except for the percussion. Just can't seem to pull the trigger on it even though it's probably a great library. It just feels like the moment I do they will announce a brand new perc lib, lol.

Re: Spitfire Albion V: Tundra
Not for me really Jason. My very first thought when I head the concept of "quiet library" "at the edge of silence (TM)" was noise reduction. First thought. The very concept begs a technical challenge, especially in somewhere like Air hall - for me it's a significant failing that they didn't really ...

@ Ray
EWQLSO sounds great.
I've managed to resist this OT library. I was drawn in mostly by the choir, but I think I'd be better off getting a dedicated choir library as that's something I don't have.
