Re: Relab / REV6000
I like it. Much. I would nearly have bought it for the loyality price of USD 129 but found out that I actually get a free crossgrade as a Relab VSR24 / Reverb Bundle2 owner. Caveat: I had to create an account to Relabs community website in order to find an explanation how to do the crossgrade. That ...

Re: Another new noise reduction miracle
There we are - AI alone better than this human’s involvement! Yes, that can happen, but needs not be a rule. As an analogy, human recordings do not need to be better than samples per se, just because a human instrumentalist is involved. Actually, they often are not, for example I had to up my recor...

Enhanced (the second one, without de-reverb) is the best for me. De-reverb adds some pumping artefact.

The venerable Nagarjuna quoted the Buddha: "Only two things are certain in life. One: You will die. Two: You don't know when".
In that sense I shall do those projects in 2022 that I always wanted to do, before time may run out. You never know!

Re: MBP M1 Max audio example
Interesting. Mary Spender has been on my radar since a while as she plays a decent viola as well and comes across as a very sympathetic person. Also she has that Youtube and singer/songwriter thing really down, bravo. Side note: I wish she would sing more like she speaks. All too many singers these ...

Re: Orchestral Tools Layers - Free Instrument
@FriFlo Don't know about old or new, but the chords are clearly put together from single sections, not recorded together. Why? Because they are in tempered tuning, while a strings orchestra would arrive at a more pure tuning. no, they are not. All chords are recorded as they are, not edited from in...

Re: Black Friday 2019
Lexicon have a Black Friday deal on their own site:
PCM Reverb Bundle USD 239.98
Effects Bundle USD 199.98
Total Bundle USD 399.98
www.lexiconpro.com
It could be worth it to wait until this is through the plugin dealers though.

Re: Precedence-newcomer in the SPAT realm?
To me it sounds very good, however I am on Laptop speakers here right now. I remember discussing such a plugin for orchestral use with Andrew Souter at Galbanum / 2caudio as early as 2009! This is what I wrote then: " We orchestral composers do not need much right-left panning because that can ...

The left slider of this tool should be gain compensated imho. Without that it looks like a fancy LouderIsBetterIsator.

Re: LiquidSonics’ Seventh Heaven Professional - Bricasti M7 reverbs
Without yet having installed it and while being a loyal LiquidSonics client (I think I bought all their software so far except the Slate thing) the original price honestly seemed to me like an overplayed hand. There was something about it like 'I've been too modest in the years so this time I'll try...
