Gymnopedie No. 1 definitely created my interest to look into this. Can’t say I like the reverberation added to many of these demos, but perhaps it’s just a matter of taste. Do hope it’s not part of the library and has indeed been added. Will listen further once I’m back in my studio.

You were fast getting the news out, Guy! Purchased. A few minor problems with the download info at present due to the fact that in some places files are supposedly for DG3. In the email, again DG3 is mentioned, but the download links are for DG4. I assume Andrea will fix this at some point.

Happy to receive a major update to a library released a few years ago. The additional layers are especially appreciated. People often complain that Spitfire doesn’t do enough to fix minor bugs in their libraries so, for some, this release was probably unexpected.

Wondering how well this would work with orchestral basses. I've been using Lowender and a Maserati Waves plugin for years for a variety of genres, but maybe it's time to try this one as well.

That was my thinking, too, Geoff. And since I own most, but not all, of those libraries, I’m very tempted to purchase this at the discount they have offered. There are also supposed to be bug fixes, so that’s welcome news IF they’ve taken care of most of the more annoying ones. Time will tell.

Personally, I wouldn’t claim that it’s better than the core version, which I own. But I do think it’s an excellent freebie and yes, it does have some of the features of the pro version. Just my opinion, of course. One can do quite a lot with it, and it’s very generous of Project Sam to include it.

Has anyone successfully downloaded Bold Legato Brass? I've updated via Native Access but it's not showing up for me. Yes, Bold Legato Brass was installed when it was first released and is working well in Kontakt 7 here. Just one "orchestra patch' showing the 2 instruments currently available.

The problem these days with UAD plugins is that they aren't VST3 and therefore don't even show up in Cubase 12 running in Native mode on a Mac M1 or M2 .
